"Seven men Who rule the World from the Grave" by Dave Breese - this details the thinking of seven influential, unbiblical thinkers from the past, whos' ideologies have so influenced government, economics, religion and education that our everyday lives are still and increasingly effected.
The seven are: Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, Julius Wellhausen, John Dewey, Sigmund Freud, John Maynard Keys, Soren Kierkegaard and in passing Albert Einstein.
This book is a real eye-opener as to the philosophies current in western thought and life in almost every field and gives a great many reasons why the world is in such a mess now.
Some of the book was heavy going and would suit those who have had some higher education. Highly Recommended!
"Evolution - the Greatest Deception on Earth" by Roger G Gallop - This book, which I have read in paperback form, is some 263 pages long and some parts of it can be heavy going for an uneducated person like me, however having ploughed through the thoroughly researched and very well written arguments it's hard to see how anyone educated or not, would not be convinced to believe that the earth is young and was created by God in just six days. The book begins with a brief history of the creation/evolution debate and then in ten chapters presents well constructed and very well supported argument to convince the reader of the foolishness of belief in evolution and the deception perpetrated by those who proclaim it. The chapter headings are as follows -1: Creation verses Evolution, 2:Physical Scientific Evidence for Creation, 3:Biological Scientific Evidence for Creation, 4:Catastrophic Phenomena in Geology, 5:Geomorphic features of a Worldwide Flood, 6: Sedimentary Features of a Worldwide Flood, 7:Fossil-dating, 8:Radioisotape Dating, 9: Other Evidence for a Young Earth & Universe, 10: The Biblical Account of Noah's Flood.
The entire argument is well supported by photos, diagrams and an extensive bibliography. I would recommend this book for late high school and older people, especially those with some tertiary studies behind them.
"Christianity for Sceptics" by Steve Kumar with Dr Jonathan Safarti - recommended especially for teenagers as it asks questions many of them are asking: "Are Atheism and Islam logical or not?".Cost is $18.00. Quote from our reviewer David Barnes - "If I was a skeptic before I read the book, I would be a believer now".

Universe by Design ; Dr Danny Faulkner,
If you are looking for a simple book to make you think, this is it. It presents the history of cosmology simply and presents problems with existing theories, and proposes creationist ideas. The book admits that creation thinking in this area lags behind that in biology and geology, so this book proposes no answers, but the questions it puts are very good.
Regarding the cosmological principle, Faulkner writes, “One assumption is that the universe is homogenous.. the same properties throughout… In cosmology homogeneity usually refers to the appearance and structure of the universe as well as the material distribution. ,, on a local level the universe appears very clumpy.”
The conclusion is “Cosmology… is a rapidly changing thing… but the Bible is forever true.”
In Six Days, edited by John F Ashton.
Subtitled why 50 scientists chose to believe in Creation, this book is a series of short essays of 50 different people involved in academia, most with doctorates, all who give reasons why they personally support a literal six 24 hour day creation. The range of reasons is awe inspiring: From experts working practically with the laws of thermodynamics, to biologists speaking of the mathematics of cells, to the design of lobster eyes, to explanations of research regarding bacteria that grows in extremes, to problems with marriages of close relatives, the research which showed the cichlid fish as a defined ‘kind’, to working with Carbon 14 and Uranium -238 dating, seed soaked in ocean waters, and the connections of the nerve cells in the brain.
There are well over 50 pieces of evidence to build a compelling picture of why people with a brain, who think, might chose to believe a six day creation. A summary point was written by Dr Stephen Grocott, and it is worth pondering on, “As an undergraduate I was taught to remember, not to think. I was given tools which I could use,… but I was not taught to think. Then as a PhD researcher I worked in a very narrow field (as do all PhD researchers), so the question ‘what is the definition of scientific?” was absolutely irrelevant to me.” So narrow is real world research that the answer the question ‘what is goo-to-you evolution?’ is irrelevant. But merely trying to prove Bible origins rather than ‘remember’ accepted thinking, awakes the thinker in even the most ordinary person.
